Eat.Pray.Love Bali - The Journey

Assalamualaikum wbt..

I've been planning this Bali trip/ honeymoon since December last year, been googling and doing further research of place of interest and food to eat in Bali, Indonesia. The most tiring part is to search for a place to stay, I've been stressing for quite some time till I've found the best deal to stay at Umalas Hotel & Residence, Seminyak (4 Days, 3 Nights). We both enjoyed our stay there very much, despite the fact that it is a little further away from the city but we have our own transporter to chauffeur us around which makes everything so convenient for us. We managed to find a very lovely driver from the internet- Pak Sastri and he is a Muslim guy. Make it so much easier for us to find halal food and mosque/musolla for prayers :) :)

I remember the night before the trip, hubby haven't really pack his luggage till 11 pm at night when our flight is 9 am the next day in the morning, guess he was too excited, and yes he didn't sleep the whole night, fumbling on our bed waiting for time to pass faster so we could be at the airport as soon as possible - derr! I can't sleep because he didn't sleep!. Thus, all the panda eyes are caused by lack of sleep, but hey, WE ARE EXCITED!

We took a cab and arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) on time (8.00 am). And after settling all the check in procedures,  husband and I had a light breakfast before boarding.

Boarding Lion Air and the entire flight was 3 hours, the weather was amazing, blue skies, the clouds are floating beautifully, t'was a great sight, Masya Allah :)

After arriving at Bali which was 12.30 pm, I was initially worried if I would meet our driver, but all went well when we saw our driver Pak Sastri waiting patiently outside the gate with our play card - Mr. Hafizzudin. He drove us around with his Mitsubishi car :)

I shall continue to share our Bali trip in my next post-till then xoxo

Saving the best for the last-Me!

Assalamualaikum w.b.t.. B's nature of work leaves me with no choice but to be independent. His work schedule knows no weekends and public holiday. But a kaki jalan I am by nature and nurture, what if it's only me and Aulia'? bring it on! Nak keluar jugak! I thought  it was impossible at first but naaa, practice makes perfect, I am so used to it already, you'll be surprised of what I can do with only one hand. Haha The skills develop naturally. From folding stroller and do groceries shopping while pushing the cart and her stroller? I have done all that. But there are time I do need hands from strangers, and kudos to Malaysians, they're helpful. And I think this is the perfect bonding time because Aulia' is with her baby sitter during the weekdays. Her new doll with blinking eyes and annoying sound..  So there are times, I'd love to doll up, but now I have a plus one! How? I doll her up as well! luckily she's a daughter, dear God thanks

The Hi5 Concert in Malaysia

Assalamualaikum wbt.. My little girl was so giddy about the Hi5 concert in Malaysia since we bought the tickets couple of months ago. She keep saying she's gonna dance along with the Hi5 songs with her friends in front of the stage. We bought the concert tickets via online at TicketPro.com and the concert is held for one week until before the xmas.  One ticket for Aulia' at the Mosh Pit area costs about RM 283 while another two tickets for hubby and myself costs about RM 113 per person. We came a bit earlier than the show at KLPAC after having our lunch at home and we visited the lobby area and bought  Hi5 souvenir for Aulia'. The show started at 2.30 p.m. and as soon as the kids heard the entrance announcement, they all are on their feet ready to rock the concert. Chatterbox or known as "Chats" first appearance and the kids been screaming all the time when it all started including my little one. We can see her excitedly jumping around from our se

Carnaval Churrascaria

Assalamualaikum w.b.t.. Last week we had an invitation from our boss for a departmental dinner. This is the third time I join in with the whole Renewable Energy team for official  makan-makan . So we had this dinner session at a weird place named Carnaval Churrascaria, (I still had a problem of pronouncing this restaurant's name) somewhere near to the Atria Mall in Damansara Jaya SS22, Petaling Jaya. Carnaval Churasscaria is one such Brazilian Restaurant, decked out with Brazilian national colour of yellow and green. It is a brazillian style where all the meats are grilled and the waiter come to each table with knives and skewered meat and slice it for us.. For non-MEAT lovers, you may opt for the non-meety buffet..they actually have rice, pasta, potatoes, salads and some seafood. For those who loves garlic bread, you should try their garlic bread which mixed with cheese..Two thumbs up!! yummy!
