Eat.Pray.Love Bali - The Journey

Assalamualaikum wbt..

I've been planning this Bali trip/ honeymoon since December last year, been googling and doing further research of place of interest and food to eat in Bali, Indonesia. The most tiring part is to search for a place to stay, I've been stressing for quite some time till I've found the best deal to stay at Umalas Hotel & Residence, Seminyak (4 Days, 3 Nights). We both enjoyed our stay there very much, despite the fact that it is a little further away from the city but we have our own transporter to chauffeur us around which makes everything so convenient for us. We managed to find a very lovely driver from the internet- Pak Sastri and he is a Muslim guy. Make it so much easier for us to find halal food and mosque/musolla for prayers :) :)

I remember the night before the trip, hubby haven't really pack his luggage till 11 pm at night when our flight is 9 am the next day in the morning, guess he was too excited, and yes he didn't sleep the whole night, fumbling on our bed waiting for time to pass faster so we could be at the airport as soon as possible - derr! I can't sleep because he didn't sleep!. Thus, all the panda eyes are caused by lack of sleep, but hey, WE ARE EXCITED!

We took a cab and arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) on time (8.00 am). And after settling all the check in procedures,  husband and I had a light breakfast before boarding.

Boarding Lion Air and the entire flight was 3 hours, the weather was amazing, blue skies, the clouds are floating beautifully, t'was a great sight, Masya Allah :)

After arriving at Bali which was 12.30 pm, I was initially worried if I would meet our driver, but all went well when we saw our driver Pak Sastri waiting patiently outside the gate with our play card - Mr. Hafizzudin. He drove us around with his Mitsubishi car :)

I shall continue to share our Bali trip in my next post-till then xoxo

Saving the best for the last-Me!

Assalamualaikum w.b.t..
B's nature of work leaves me with no choice but to be independent. His work schedule knows no weekends and public holiday. But a kaki jalan I am by nature and nurture, what if it's only me and Aulia'? bring it on! Nak keluar jugak! I thought  it was impossible at first but naaa, practice makes perfect, I am so used to it already, you'll be surprised of what I can do with only one hand. Haha The skills develop naturally. From folding stroller and do groceries shopping while pushing the cart and her stroller? I have done all that. But there are time I do need hands from strangers, and kudos to Malaysians, they're helpful. And I think this is the perfect bonding time because Aulia' is with her baby sitter during the weekdays.

So there are times, I'd love to doll up, but now I have a plus one! How? I doll her up as well! luckily she's a daughter, dear God thanks for being so understanding! I am grateful! Tutu you say?! Of course! and…

DIY Dulang Hantaran Fresh Flowers

Assalamualaikum wbt..

Last week was my BIL E-day. So I was assigned by my MIL to do the 'Dulang Hantaran' and it decorations including all the goodies inside the dulang.. since this is only the engagement event, not so much personal items to be included in the dulang except for the rings.. both for merisik and engagement..
Since last time during my Nikah day, I did the DIY dulang hantaran using the artificial flowers and this time around I was thinking to do it with the fresh flowers. I purposely wanted it that way just because I can save a lot of time (since I am way too busy with my PhD study and I have to travel to and fro KL-JB) and at the same time we can avoid the hustle of keeping the dulang covered with dust in the store room. Lol..talking about experience huh!
And most importantly.. we can save a lot of money.. Lemme show you the trick..

Sending off dulang for fresh flower decorations can cost you up to RM75 to RM150 per tray excluding the items inside the dulang. Mi…

TTC Part 8: HSG Test Result

So last week, I did the HSG Test (Hysterosalpingogram) which is fallopian tube patency test. Kenapa buat? Sebab we've been curious about our unexplained infertility for 5 years. After consistently visiting my gynae every month since earlier this year and masih unable to conceive, doctor suggested that I undergo the HSG test to determine the tubal patent.
Test ni perlu dibuat after period and before you expect your ovulation. In between la kira and make sure you did not BD before the test. So lebih kurang CD10 akak datang untuk buat test. During CD1 lagi dah buat appointment untuk datang pukul berapa and to check whether doctor available atau dia ada operation or what not during that day.
So masa ni buat kat KPJ Ipoh, datang dengan husband because takut balik nanti tak boleh nak drive sendiri. Terus pegi bahagian Radiology (X Ray) bawa surat from my Gynae.
Procedure X Ray semua sama you have to take off all your clothes and pakai la the hospital gown, and you need to bring your…
