Aulia' birthday party

Assalamualaikum wbt

I am finally getting around to share few photos from Aulia's birthday party from a couple weeks ago. We had the greatest afternoon at my in-law's place with siblings, cousins and relatives celebrating our little girl turned TWO and Eid:) I think it's really fun to throw parties for our baby. I know she won't remember it, but it's her birthday and in my opinion, it's more about celebrating everyone in the family and we all made it! What a great year! I am so thankful my in-laws help me with last-minutes stuffs. Sunday morning was hectic! SILs had to pick up the cake and the boys spent the morning finishing off some of the decors (tied the banner together, arranging the furnitures, etc.). The tables, catering foods, fruits, candies and chocolate fountain were also delivered that morning.

I took a few pics beforehand, but too busy with Aulia' to take any pics during the party. (My BIL manage to took pictures of the party. Pheww!). We had about 50 over guests. It had been a good weather that day. We set up tables at the living room and dining. We ordered marshmallow sticks and candies for the little ones and they was all look so excited.  We catered the candy bar from a local party planner.

I didn't have time to really take a lot of pretty "details pictures" (people were kinda standing around waiting to attack the food) but you get the idea..and Aulia'..she get a little grumpy before bed the night before, but I just think she was exhausted after Eid celebration at the hotel. Overall, she had a great party and I hope whatever her wish (If only she know how to make a wish) will come true.
And now, for some photos we took on her birthday. Love!

oh baby girl. I could say a million wonderful things about you. You're sweet, beautiful, hilarious, smart, cute, and snuggly. You're my favourite girl in the world and we're all so lucky  to have you in our lives. Happy 2nd birthday, sweet Aulia!

Saving the best for the last-Me!

Assalamualaikum w.b.t..
B's nature of work leaves me with no choice but to be independent. His work schedule knows no weekends and public holiday. But a kaki jalan I am by nature and nurture, what if it's only me and Aulia'? bring it on! Nak keluar jugak! I thought  it was impossible at first but naaa, practice makes perfect, I am so used to it already, you'll be surprised of what I can do with only one hand. Haha The skills develop naturally. From folding stroller and do groceries shopping while pushing the cart and her stroller? I have done all that. But there are time I do need hands from strangers, and kudos to Malaysians, they're helpful. And I think this is the perfect bonding time because Aulia' is with her baby sitter during the weekdays.

So there are times, I'd love to doll up, but now I have a plus one! How? I doll her up as well! luckily she's a daughter, dear God thanks for being so understanding! I am grateful! Tutu you say?! Of course! and…

DIY Dulang Hantaran Fresh Flowers

Assalamualaikum wbt..

Last week was my BIL E-day. So I was assigned by my MIL to do the 'Dulang Hantaran' and it decorations including all the goodies inside the dulang.. since this is only the engagement event, not so much personal items to be included in the dulang except for the rings.. both for merisik and engagement..
Since last time during my Nikah day, I did the DIY dulang hantaran using the artificial flowers and this time around I was thinking to do it with the fresh flowers. I purposely wanted it that way just because I can save a lot of time (since I am way too busy with my PhD study and I have to travel to and fro KL-JB) and at the same time we can avoid the hustle of keeping the dulang covered with dust in the store room. Lol..talking about experience huh!
And most importantly.. we can save a lot of money.. Lemme show you the trick..

Sending off dulang for fresh flower decorations can cost you up to RM75 to RM150 per tray excluding the items inside the dulang. Mi…

TTC Part 8: HSG Test Result

So last week, I did the HSG Test (Hysterosalpingogram) which is fallopian tube patency test. Kenapa buat? Sebab we've been curious about our unexplained infertility for 5 years. After consistently visiting my gynae every month since earlier this year and masih unable to conceive, doctor suggested that I undergo the HSG test to determine the tubal patent.
Test ni perlu dibuat after period and before you expect your ovulation. In between la kira and make sure you did not BD before the test. So lebih kurang CD10 akak datang untuk buat test. During CD1 lagi dah buat appointment untuk datang pukul berapa and to check whether doctor available atau dia ada operation or what not during that day.
So masa ni buat kat KPJ Ipoh, datang dengan husband because takut balik nanti tak boleh nak drive sendiri. Terus pegi bahagian Radiology (X Ray) bawa surat from my Gynae.
Procedure X Ray semua sama you have to take off all your clothes and pakai la the hospital gown, and you need to bring your…
