So what's next for 2013??

Assalamualaikum wbt..

The year 2012 is over in a mere 4 days and 2013 is about to arrive. Starting this year, I have decided to start a little tradition; having a list of resolution/ things to achieve every year (yeah, like I never did before!).

Guess it's never too late so here goes nothing:

1) Lose Weight
2013 will see me have the awesome body I once had (I mean before delivering Aulia'). Oh yea!
2) Attempt New Look
This year I figured, at some point, a physical change would be nice. Right? Oh mommies out there..do something for your husband!
3) Embrace Change with open arms
A toughie coz me hate change but me arms shall try to open for it, even is it's just a tiny embrace.
4) Travel smart and travel more
Must learn not to buy items just because they're super cheap, visit more places and fulfil travel list for 2013. Amin:)
5) Save wisely
I should have a healthy BIG account and save up more...I must save up at least RM2000/m.
6) A New Job
Time for a change. But in order to move I need to achieve No 3. Embrace change woman, embrace it.
7) Do more Sedekah
There's always more room for doing sedekah and making the world a little better and I plan to do just that because I'm a Muslimah. I don't get the chance to go for Friday prayers and sedekah like any other man in the mosque would do. My mom of course insist that sedekah should begin at home, esp when my little sister asking for school pocket money. Well that is not same okay.
8) Cooking
To learn how to cook more dishes, Malay dishes in particular, and learn how to cook chapati from mommy.
9) Not to eat pineapple
Sounds funny? Yep, that's it..no pineapple if you know what I mean.
10) The Next Kimberly Legget
I kid I kid.
Ok there done, list compiled. I can go to sleep peacefully now.

Saving the best for the last-Me!

Assalamualaikum w.b.t..
B's nature of work leaves me with no choice but to be independent. His work schedule knows no weekends and public holiday. But a kaki jalan I am by nature and nurture, what if it's only me and Aulia'? bring it on! Nak keluar jugak! I thought  it was impossible at first but naaa, practice makes perfect, I am so used to it already, you'll be surprised of what I can do with only one hand. Haha The skills develop naturally. From folding stroller and do groceries shopping while pushing the cart and her stroller? I have done all that. But there are time I do need hands from strangers, and kudos to Malaysians, they're helpful. And I think this is the perfect bonding time because Aulia' is with her baby sitter during the weekdays.

So there are times, I'd love to doll up, but now I have a plus one! How? I doll her up as well! luckily she's a daughter, dear God thanks for being so understanding! I am grateful! Tutu you say?! Of course! and…

DIY Dulang Hantaran Fresh Flowers

Assalamualaikum wbt..

Last week was my BIL E-day. So I was assigned by my MIL to do the 'Dulang Hantaran' and it decorations including all the goodies inside the dulang.. since this is only the engagement event, not so much personal items to be included in the dulang except for the rings.. both for merisik and engagement..
Since last time during my Nikah day, I did the DIY dulang hantaran using the artificial flowers and this time around I was thinking to do it with the fresh flowers. I purposely wanted it that way just because I can save a lot of time (since I am way too busy with my PhD study and I have to travel to and fro KL-JB) and at the same time we can avoid the hustle of keeping the dulang covered with dust in the store room. Lol..talking about experience huh!
And most importantly.. we can save a lot of money.. Lemme show you the trick..

Sending off dulang for fresh flower decorations can cost you up to RM75 to RM150 per tray excluding the items inside the dulang. Mi…

Hans birth story

After nine long months, no wait, after ten long months we finally get to hold our baby boy in our arms and announce his arrival to our family and friends.
It was Tuesday, 2nd January 2018 I was at 40+1 weeks pregnant. I had a stressful week prior. A lot was going on with family, getting ready for A's primary school, trying to get ready for the baby and also nesting like a crazy woman! I was in a complete organising, cleaning frenzy, with my victim being the kitchen.

A few weeks before I went into labour I had been experiencing what I thought were Braxton Hicks contractions (with Aulia' I was induced which is very intense from the start so I assumed these contraction couldn't be pre-labour as it wasn't too painful). The Braxton Hicks continued over a couple of weeks and then nearly to new year I was very nervous the baby did not show any signs to come out. I can't really explain exactly how I felt, but I was ridiculously emotional. Most of the days I was crying my …
